Random pregnancy musings
Why is it if I wake up after 4:00 to go to the bathroom, I cannot go back to sleep? If I wake up before then, and I almost always do, I don't have any problems. 4:00 is the magical time. I was up for almost 3 hours this morning and finally fell asleep for a quick 1 hour nap. Oh well, at least I got a short nap this afternoon.
My last doctor's appointment, the doctor asked me how big Becca was when she was born. He said I've consistently measured big and said he didn't think I would ever have a small baby. That wasn't the most comforting thing, however, he is inducing me at 38 1/2 weeks so this should be a normal sized baby...hopefully.

7 1/2 months
I have several requests for new pictures. I'm not sure why I can't remember to take pictures of me pregnant but I finally got one. I can't believe I have less than 7 weeks left until this baby is here. He doesn't have a name or a room yet. As a matter of fact, his room is a mess with extra furniture that we need to move out and then paint. It's amazing how quickly time flies. Darren's schedule is slowng down thanks to daylight savings time. We'll be able to work hard on the room and the garage...completely unrelated to the baby I know, but something that needs to be done while my husband has more time on his hands.
My eye always looks worse when I'm tired...I'll be glad to get it fixed soon.

Halloween
Halloween night, we went to our church's trunk or treat. The parking lot was full of games, face painting, popcorn, and a band called "Mission Six" www.missionsix.com who warmed up during the trunk or treat and performed a mini concert afterwards. Becca enjoyed playing and getting candy. They had some cute games like musical chairs and putt-putt which Becca almost won. Her ball went right around the edge of the hole...I thought they should have given in to her being 3-years-old...but then again, I am her mom. She did good at the football toss but didn't quite get a ring around a 2-liter. It was a great evening with beautiful weather. Because it started a 5:00 and the sun was still up, Becca didn't even have to wear a coat. Of course, I think Becca is the cutest thing, however, I was surprised how many strangers pointed her out and commented on her outift and especially the shoes...which were pretty cute. We did walk around the neighborhood some, however when we got to one friend's house near the end of the evening they just wanted to play. So, we stopped trick or treating there and then went home.
