Crazy week

Wow!! I am so glad I'm going on vacation next week. I have had something almost every night since Saturday night. I brought most of it on myself but I knew I'd have a break next week. Tomorrow, Darren and I will celebrate our 12th anniversary, although our actual anniversary is Sunday. 12 years!! Time really does fly. Saturday, Becca and I plan on driving to Oklahoma and visit with friends and family for awhile. Darren will fly in the following Saturday for ORU's alumni golf tournament. He will then drive back with us Tuesday, so I'll be home for a good while and hope to see many of you, my friends. Becca is getting close to being potty trained. She's doing pretty well about staying dry most of the time. This will be my first experience driving a long way with her going in the potty so hopefully, the trip will go as smoothly as it has before. Pray for us. :)

July 4th

We had a great 4th of July and hope everyone else did as well. My friend, Coco, as my daughter calls her came in town for a few days. We hung out and tried to catch up as much as possible in the short amount of time she was here. We went to some friends house for a cook-out and fireworks. My friend, unfortunately, had to leave this morning to continue her trip across the south. We'll see her at the end of July when we go back home for a week.

Family vacation

Our family went on our first ever vacation away together the week of Memorial Day. Typically when we all get together, it's at someone's house around Christmas or in the summertime. It was good for everyone to be away from work and other responsibilities. We were in Branson for 3 days and 4 nights. This will be an every other year trip where we'll find someplace new and exciting to visit....maybe an Alaskan cruise or just other fun places in our surrounding areas. We rented a 5-bedroom home; everyone had a king-sized bed. We went go-karting, putt-putting, outlet shopping, water/light show viewing and titantic museum touring. We cooked most meals at the home and spent some days and evenings playing cards and games and enjoying each other's company. It was too short but it was still fun getting together. The following website is where we stayed and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Branson area. http://www.cyberrentals.com/USA/Missouri/vacation-house-Branson/p129328.htm This and http://www.resortsandlodges.com/, are good websites to look for places to stay when vacationing.

Convention

I had such a good time at convention. My roommate and I got along great. I learned so much and had a lot of fun along the way. As a matter of fact, she won a lexus along with 1 other lady. Everyone at convention had the opportunity to win; points were given for registering for convention and also based on sales. They can choose either an SUV hybrid or a sedan-type.
I came back so excited to get back to my business. They are offering some great new services soon such as offering the entire catalog online as well as shipping directly to the customer. The new fall catalog is even better and so many great specials going on in the next few months for customers as well as people interested in getting in the business. I came back with so many ideas that I will probably be working on those in the next few weeks. The pictures are just a couple of the many rooms they set up to give us ideas how to use the products. Enjoy!
