Our family went on our first ever vacation away together the week of Memorial Day. Typically when we all get together, it's at someone's house around Christmas or in the summertime. It was good for everyone to be away from work and other responsibilities. We were in Branson for 3 days and 4 nights. This will be an every other year trip where we'll find someplace new and exciting to visit....maybe an Alaskan cruise or just other fun places in our surrounding areas. We rented a 5-bedroom home; everyone had a king-sized bed. We went go-karting, putt-putting, outlet shopping, water/light show viewing and titantic museum touring. We cooked most meals at the home and spent some days and evenings playing cards and games and enjoying each other's company. It was too short but it was still fun getting together.
